CD1334 Featuring Original CHRISTIAN DEATH Members To Perform At FANGORIA WEEKEND OF HORRORS

May 10, 2007

CD1334, the project featuring founding members of the seminal goth/punk band CHRISTIAN DEATH, will perform CD's landmark first album "Only Theatre of Pain" at the Shock-N-Roll Spooktacular (part of the Fangoria Weekend Of Horrors) on Friday, May 18 at the Burbank Airport Marriott Hotel at 9:00 p.m. The show will be an all-ages event with a bar for the over-21 crowd.

2007 marks the 25th anniversary of the "Only Theatre of Pain" album and founding members George Belanger, James McGearty and Rikk Agnew wanted to do something special for the occasion. Since singer Rozz Williams had sadly passed away, the band enlisted Williams' ex-wife Eva O. to sing the songs and added guitarist Jaime Pina and keyboardist Le Rue De Lashay to flesh out the sound while appearing under the new name CD "1334". Belanger had to drop out due to family matters and former Williams associate Christian Omar Madrigal Izzo was brought in on drums.

Frontier Records has pressed a limited silver anniversary edition of the vinyl that will only be available when the band plays this year.

The group's performance at the Henry Fonda Theatre last month was a highly emotional event with people flying in from all over the world to experience the original members re-creating the magic of what a CHRISTIAN DEATH concert was like while pushing it into a new era.

CD1334 will perform "Only Theatre of Pain" in its entirety as well as songs from "Hell Comes To Your House" and the "Deathwish" EP and a new song titled "Rites".
